Tour des Alpages de Conthey
Degree of difficulty: T2
This
is a pleasant trail with varied types of terrain. The views of the
Alps and the Rhone valley are superb. It is possible to stay and/or
eat in the Aïroz and Lodze Gîtes. The Alpage de Pointet and Alpage
de Flore sell cheese and sérac.
The
itinerary is not completely finished. The easiest way to cross “La
Contheysanne” (torrent), between the Alpage du Genièvre and
Alpage de la Pierre, is situated above the alpine pasture at the
junction with the river (altitude 1960 m / GPS E 588549 N 128816).
Then follow the road until you reach the Alpage de Pointet.

From
Tsanperron, descend towards Maduc or towards Les Blêts through the
Charlaz forest (trail connecting to Derborence).
